Ultimately, regardless of the genre, voiceover work is about storytelling. Before becoming a voice actor, I was a public interest lawyer for about 20 years. I carry that professional, intellectual, and compassionate background into my recording booth. That helps me communicate even detailed, technical subjects—including regulatory, financial, and medical matters—in a way that's clear and engaging. That experience also informs my sense of storytelling, as an important part of my work as a lawyer was connecting with people and helping tell their stories.
Corporate Narration, Explainer Videos, eLearning, Medical Narration, and Nonfiction Audiobooks are the areas I most enjoy and excel at. I’m great at sounding like a subject matter expert who will keep you engaged and interested, not put you to sleep; but I can also thoughtfully connect with listeners or bring a script’s wry humor to life.
A script isn’t just words on a page (well, on a screen). It’s a story. I give each script the time and attention necessary to tell that story in a meaningful, genuine way.

I've had individual coaching from J. Michael Collins on Corporate Narration (including Explainers), eLearning, and Medical Narration in 2022; he also produced my demos in those genres. I've gotten additional individual coaching from Brigid Reale in 2023 and from Mike Cooper (on nonfiction audiobooks) in 2024.
I've had training through Gravy For The Brain's professional group mentoring program since 2021, with mentors such as J. Michael Collins, Brigid Reale, Bev Standing, Graeme Spicer, Mike Cooper, Hugh Edwards, and Peter Dickson. I've also attended and taken workshops at the One Voice Conference USA (2022, 2023), including a 3-hour workshop with Anne Ganguzza on Medical Narration & eLearning. I had a blast in Jenn Henry's Acting Fun-D'mentals class in 2024.

Past clients include Book Buddy Media, the City of College Station (TX), and the Las Cruces Convention Center.
For Book Buddy Media, I narrated the nonfiction audiobook, “A Paradise of Small Houses.” I did a voiceover for an internal video for the City of College Station to introduce their employees to their new intranet system. I was the live announcer at the Las Cruces Convention Center in New Mexico for a two-day expo on electrification and energy efficiency.
