Richard Toms

Hello, my name is Richard Toms.
As a Navy veteran of 20 years, I have been privileged to see many beautiful places and cultures around the world.
I have been performing as a vocalist for most of my life. I have been in many parts of the country singing with some of the finest community chorales; and was a member of one of the finest regional gospel quartets on the east coast, having recorded 3 professional music CD’s with that group.
It is this experience that has enabled me to hone and refine my skills as a vocalist. I hold a degree in Music Education from Norfolk State University concentrating in vocal music, giving me the knowledge to excel in presentation of any script. I taught music in the school system for more than 15 years both as a substitute and a full-time classroom teacher after retiring from the military, which enabled me to improve on public speaking skills.
I bring experience, professionalism and dedication to the voice over industry and the1 assurance that you will be truly satisfied that you have chosen me to work with on your project.
