Lawrence Shum

I´m a skillful voice talent for corporate presentations, e-learning, TI and telecommunications projects (IVR - interactive voice response, voice portals and hold on messages), political, business and institutional telemarketing messages, Radio and TV commercials and promos.

 Eğitim

Apart from being commercial broadcaster, I´m publicist, graduated at FAAP, Master and Doctor in Communication and Semiotics at PUC – SP, and teacher of the courses of Game Design at PUC – SP and Advertising and Radio, TV and Internet at Fapcom, Faculdade Paulus de Tecnologia e Comunicação.

 Deneyim

In the period between 1983 and 1996, I worked as broadcaster and producer in some of the major radio and TV stations in São Paulo: Antena 1, 97 FM, Excelsior AM (presently CBN), Gazeta FM, Nova FM Record, Band FM, TV Bandeirantes, and Eldorado FM. I also acted as voice talent at HBO Plus and HBO Max between 2003 and 2014.

I own an audio production facility that provides high quality audio standards (recording, editing and mastering). The recordings take place at an isolated and acoustic treated sound booth. The sound gear I use is: Microphones: Neumann TLM 103, Sennheiser MKH-416, Sennheiser MKH 50 and Rode NT2-A. Audio interface: Apollo Twin (Universal Audio). Audio software: Adobe Audition, Pro Tools, Sound Forge and Sony Vegas. Audio monitors: KRK VXT-6 and Audio-technica ATH-M50x (headphones).
