Laura Kamp

I specialize in commercial VoiceOver, and I also really love video games and animation. I have an isolation booth at home, which allows me to reliably work at any hour without interruption. From my studio, I can work with clients anywhere on the globe via SourceConnect Standard. My goal has been to create a recording space with a naturally pristine sound, without having to rely on software. My studio acoustics have been approved by audio tech engineer, George Whittam. I am based in Central Europe in Prague, Czech Republic, and I have a VAT number. My business is also registered in the USA.

 Eğitim

For the past 3 years I have been working extensively with commercial vo coach, Nancy Wolfson in Los Angeles, CA USA. I work occasionally with a dialect coach, and I have participated in numerous performance workshops in video games, monsters, and animation. I am active in my local improv community.

 Deneyim

I currently voice transit interruption announcements to be broadcast in Prague metro stations for the Prague Transit Authority (DPP) Dopravní podnik hlavního města Prahy. I also regularly record UN-style dubbing in local studios for documentary projects. Other clients include: Škoda; TYMPANUM, Ltd.; EasyTalk s.r.o.; SoundSquare Studios; Mailbox Translations s.r.o.; Sype Studios, Prague Film School, Film and TV School of Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (FAMU).

I sing and play banjo in a band named Rodeo Queen. I love to write/perform harmonies. I am a certified Master Gardener. In DnD I am a level 16 Forest Gnome Wizard/Warlock named Leiriope. I have been regularly training in Goju Ryu Karate for over 5 years.
