Heidi Smith

North American female with clear and concise diction. My accents include midwestern neutral, western, and northern. My vocal range is alto to soprano and is well suited for natural, "mom", "girl-next-door", and "down-to-earth" cool or warm conversational scripts. I am proficient in medical terminology. I enjoy voicing pharmaceutical/healthcare commercials and medical narration. The American 2024 political commercial market is a special interest for which I offer a conservative to moderate voice. Documentaries, museum tours, and e-learning related to the arts, (music, fine arts, festivals, fairs) are another favorite to voice. I also enjoy voicing child and toy scripts. I can voice young, female AI if a human touch is preferred over a simulated voice.

I trained with Bonnie Gilgallon and Tim Calloway for voice coaching at Such A Voice. I also engage additional coaches from various professional voice coaches ongoing, for additional vocal training.

 Deneyim

Brad Shaw, the founder of Wonderland VO, invited me to participate in the UK cancer research fundraiser: Wonderland Challenge II, Alice Through the Looking Glass. He broke up the well-known children's classic into 174 parts and distributed each part to a unique voice actor. All chosen voice actors donated to the cause and returned their part to Brad. He mastered and published the entire ensemble work to raise additional funds for cancer research.
