Amy Height

From pithy one-liners to sassy commercial spots to extended explainer videos requiring just the right balance of enthusiasm and seriousness, I pride myself on being able to bring a level of playfulness and lightness to every project. I am originally trained in acting for the stage, with an emphasis in musical theatre, allowing a certain musicality in my voice performance. Raised in Canada and now a dual US citizen for over ten years, I have a keen ear for the subtleties of Canadian and American dialects.

I am also a trained group fitness instructor: this energy, succinctness and motivational spirit is something I love to bring to VO projects.

Having spent the latter part of my theatre career as a stage manager, I communicate with clarity and precision, and can easily receive and implement direction. I bring an ultra-organized, incredibly thorough approach to my VO work.

I work from my home studio in Denver and am available for directed sessions via Source Connect, Zoom and Google Meet.

 Eğitim

I trained with David Rosenthal at the Global Voice Acting Academy and continue my professional development through coaching and classes with their team of industry professionals. Fall/Winter 2023, I will be taking an intensive VO for Actors course with Kalmenson & Kalmenson.

 Deneyim

I have contributed my voice to projects for Nanaimo's Kind Community Yoga and Denver's Compass Fitness.
