My native voice is a neutral British accent, mainly RP but with a hint of north-western England. I have more than 20 years' experience in broadcasting at some of the UK's biggest radio stations, and I tend to concentrate on areas including narration, education, and roles that involve conveying information in an authoritative but engaging way. I also have some experience in lighter topics and more cutting humour, across radio and podcasting.

My background is in broadcasting in the UK, where I worked as a presenter and newsreader for the BBC, Classic FM and others. Alongside that, I've recorded station promotions and other elements, as well as a number of radio commercials.

For nearly 10 years, I was the main voice of news at Classic FM, at the time the UK's biggest commercial radio station, with close to 7-million weekly listeners. Before that I read bulletins sent to hundreds of radio stations around the world from ITN, one of the UK's biggest providers of news coverage. I've also broadcast on the BBC's rolling news network, and internationally via Australia's ABC and the online station Monocle Radio. I've recorded commercials for cruise lines and banks, narration for e-learning and documentaries.
