My formal training back in the day was a double Law/Commerce degree with a double Finance major. Whilst unrelated to the acting world, it was a great start for VO work as it gave me a good public speaking foundation.
Since graduating I've training consistently with private coaches and in ongoing classes for both voice and acting in general. I spent around 5 years working at Cleaver Academy of voice, whilst also at University, on singing/voice work, and subsequently took private voice classes with Stephan Costan (former head of Voice at VCA) for numerous years. I've been in ongoing scene study classes (acting) since 2017, working with Howard Fine both in person and online. I've also spent time training at The Second City (Improv), Beverly Hills Playhouse (Scene Study), and 16th Street Studios (Scene Study).
I also spend a lot of time running on set sound for short films and showreels, so I've got a decent chunk of experience working with audio, especially getting clean audio, and this is a skill I've transferred into my current studio work.
