Maria Guiver

I grew up in the United States and later moved to the UK. I speak with a neutral RP accent but can also access an authentic US accent with ease. My natural voice is warm and intelligent, perfect for corporate work, explainer videos and narration. I adapt easily to any style from bright and bubbly to calm and soothing to smooth and seductive. A variety of different examples can be heard in my Commercial and Narrative reels.

I also have an excellent ear for accents and mimicry. My versatility in dialect, emotion and character is one of my greatest strengths and is showcased in my Games reel. I am particularly passionate about character-driven voice work and would love to work in the ever-expanding Games industry.

All of my reels were recorded remotely from my professional home studio and were directed and produced by Martin Fisher at SonicPond Studios.

I have 4 years of professional acting experience since graduating from The Lir Academy and RADA. In July 2020, I recorded professional voicereels and have been building a CV of professional voice work since.

Most recently, I was chosen by the light therapy brand, Lumie, to be the voice of their latest online advert.

My other voiceover experience includes corporate work such as 'Food Dudes', a series of educational videos for Irish company Real Nation, ADR work (both as an actor and as loop group) and 'Speak of the Devil' a podcast of comedy monologues written by women and produced by Baker Street Productions.
