Maeria Paez

I have a very wide range of capability. My signature voice is warm with an edge. From a high pitch 7 year old kid, to middle range teen/20's will take on the world one meme at a time female, to a tired and sarcastic mom, to kind hearted loving etherial angel, to vengeful lower register gravel demon. My regular voice is clear and lives in a similar tone to Maya Rudolph.

Aside from living in my voice since childhood and listening and quickly mimicking accents and vocal characteristics from people around me, I studied acting with Anthony Meindl and went on to train with The Groundlings, Second City (graduated conservatory,) got my BA in Theatre Arts from LMU, and now studying with Melique Berger's reels as well as private training with her. Additional VO training include many workshops with Portia Scott, as well as with different coaches based in Los Angeles like Rick Wasserman, Christa Lewis and Tim Friedlander.

I worked on Sony Pictures Emogi Movie as a sound-a-like for Jennifer Coolidge as the lead character, Mary Meh, working on a memorable Spanish VO for Blue Shields, as well as recently booking and working a guest role for the children's animated series, BLIPPI WONDERS, voicing an Italian chef with a Parmesan obsession as well as winning various awards for my one woman show 'Ma's Kitchen' which I voiced over 20 characters. I recently booked and worked a podcast for Johnny Gidcomb as well.
