I'm an American voice artist and actor based in London. I've voiced games and radio drama that were nominated for BAFTAs and BBC Radio Drama Awards. My voice is many things: deep and authoritative - like the voice of Big Banking with a Conscience, or young and tough - like a cadet soldier on her first intergalactic mission, or ragged and ancient - like a fairytale dragon. My signature "natural voice" delivery is a mixture of authority, warmth, and credibility - perfect for financial institutions, consulting firms, disaster PSAs, and charity appeals. My character voices are like a little army of weirdos, ready to pounce when you need them. I've spent 25+ years working a microphone and nuancing copy. I'm a professionally trained actress with a degree in theatre. I regularly act in films and TV series. And I've spent 30 years in front of a microphone. When I was 16, I started a job in radio, and that's where my passion for voiceover and audio production began. I learned skills at good old WRAR that I used as the foundation of my decades in the business. In those days before digital recording, I used to edit with a razor blade, and alter the quality of the sound not with filters, but by running the audio down a phone line, or through multiple studios, or even by sticking my head in a metal trash can. Gosh, it was fun!
