My training comes through Voice Coaches in Albany, NY. I was trained and certified by some of the veteran voice actors in the area. Here, I was able create my demos and be approved to begin my career as a professional voice actor.
Since then I have continued my training and learning through various programs and voice trainers. I believe there is always more to learn and improve upon. As an elementary teacher of almost 20 years, I know the importance of continuing to learn and improve with the current times. Things are always changing and it's my job/responsibility to stay on top of all that is new.
I have been a live performer and have read to many during my time as a teacher. Believe it or not, we are performers trying to be innovative in the way we teach our lessons. The students are the audience and we must keep them entertained in order to keep them engaged.

I have built up a large list of connections through various outlets like, LinkedIn, Facebook, and through personal connections via phone call, in-person visits, or those who have reached out to me for future projects. I have been in the mist of auditioning for several audio books. My additional time has been spent, improving upon the skills I have been taught, continuing voice training, and increasing the business side of the VO business.

My special feature comes from my many years of working as a public school teacher for almost 20 years. I have read aloud, kept my lessons/projects organized, understood the need of urgency with time constraints, and realized if I don't know something I will find out how through research and connections.
