My voice print is well suited to narration and E-learning, but I enjoy doing character voices especially for commercial spots that call for a British, Southern (United States), or New York accent. My voice acting commercial demo is posted at DavidHulbert.com and I continually take voice over classes to exercise and expand my skills.

I have taken most of the classes offered through Voiceone.com in San Francisco (some twice) over the past two years. I attend ongoing instructor led voice over workouts offered by the Global Voice Acting Academy (GVAA). And I attend weekly voice over workouts led by Craig Lee Thomas through RealVoiceLA.com where I have also taken a VO business class and character voice classes. Recently, I have taken in-person acting and improv classes in San Francisco.

While working as a technical writer, I created an online learning program to train other technical writers how to use a new Darwin Information Type Architecture (DITA) tool that we used to publish our technical documentation. I wrote the content, created the visuals and narration voice-over using Camtasia. My program was used in our office and other EMC offices to train new technical writers.
