I consider all of voice over to be character acting. Whether it is a corporate elearning or a video game character, the goal is the same: find the tone, emotion, and energy level that fits the material and feels real to the audience. It could be subtle like a friendly twenty-something welcoming a new employee, a mid-thirties construction worker discussing safety procedures, or a more seasoned medical professional introducing a new procedure to colleagues. It could also be over the top like an old king, a middle-aged teddy bear, or a teenage rockstar. I’ve delivered all of these characters and more to satisfied clients around the world. I turn the recordings in quickly, and with high quality audio. If a pick up is needed, it is delivered as fast as possible, and with all efforts made to maintain consistency in performance and audio quality.

Though my college degree is in psychology, my voice over education comes mostly from individual training from top professionals like J. Michael Collins (commercial), Debi Derryberry (characters) , Rachel Alena (elearning), and Theresa Egan (voice training for strength, control, and range). I have also been a Gravy for the Brain member since 2016 receiving mentoring and individual training on a weekly basis from their incredible team. After that, I have maintained a practice of 4-6 hours in the studio 5 days a week since 2010 working for clients. I have had a home recording studio since 2001, and have been an avid learner in the field of audio engineering as well.
