My voice is unique because it is consistent with the ability to be completely contrasting. My voice is soothing yet commanding, firm but gentle, direct and melodious, sultry and structured, conversational and friendly yet steady and strong.

My voiceover skills come from a two decade long career as an actor. I have studied at Wayne State University, Detroit Repertory Theatre, Act One Studios Chicago, Acting Studio Chicago. I constantly take continuing education classes to broaden my voiceover and acting skills and have studied with the Royal Shakespeare Company for professional development as well as a bevy of instructors and coaches.

My biggest achievements as an actor have been well documented in various publications such as AudioFile magazine which stated that "Casaundra Freeman’s clear, strong alto easily shifts pitches to accommodate the women, men, children, and gods who populate this fresh debut...or in the Detroit Free Press where they have remarked that "Casaundra Freeman is completely believable, sometimes heartbreakingly so...or having won Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor from various organizations for my work. I have voiced a combination of nearly 1000 commercials, audiobooks, eLearning modules, health and wellness applications and more. I am the recipient of the 2024 NAVA (National Association of Voice Actors) One Voice Scholarship Award. Additionally I am a member of NAVA, Actor's Equity and the Audio Publishers Association. I have also completed extensive Audio Description training with Dark Room Ballet, Descriptathon 10, and the Audio Description Institute.
