"The affable, flexible, regular Joe with a side of radio."
William Patterson

A little over ten years ago, our industry saw a real change in the voices that advertisers were looking for. It used to be that nearly every client wanted the movie trailer guy or Morgan Freeman. Now clients ask for a 'regular guy,' movie trailer guy or Morgan Freeman. I fit the bill of the regular guy with enough range to reach into nature & travel specials and instructional videos. I've had plenty of experience with radio, TV, internet and numerous corporate internal projects. Let's talk, I'd love to hear what you're looking for.

I've worked as a casting director, producer and voice talent for over 17 years. I started as Associate Producer and casting director for CIRCA MUSIC (Columbus, OH & St. Petersburg, FL) with no intent of actually becoming a voice over artist myself. However, after a few projects where the auditioning talent didn't seem to really connect with the script during the first round of auditions, I would read a scratch for them to reference that had all the inflections and timing the client was really looking for. Soon enough, clients were calling me to specifically be the voice of their project. I still do casting work as a freelance agent, but do more VO work.

My voice has been featured in national and local advertising including 5 Hour Energy Drink, Columbus State Community College, Stonewall Columbus (Best of Show Addy Award for "The Gay Son") COTA (Central Ohio Transit Authority,) Cox Cable and many more.

I write and produce music for advertising when the need arises. I've written post scores and jingles for the likes of Perkin's Restaurants, Cooper Tires and various Circa Music projects over the years.
