Paul Gallantry

My professional background is in education, specifically English Language Teaching. Being a teacher in this field has informed my approach to voice work: I understand the importance of clarity and warmth when conveying a message. I am from the South East of England, and my voice is naturally close to RP and is friendly, authoritative, and persuasive. In addition, I have a wide performance range and I am comfortable and confident in performing in other accents as required.

 Formação

My main voice training came as part of my Drama and English Literature studies at UCNW Bangor, 1986-89. As a long-standing teacher of English as a Foreign Language, one of my specialisms has been pronunciation and intonation. Since commencing this career in 2016, other training has been an ad-hoc, autodidactic process as I have worked at being a voice artist. I am an advocate of learning through doing, and I provide Breath and Projection workshops for actors and public speakers.

I can provide post-production on recordings in my studio - editing, noise reduction, equalisation etc.
I am also adept at proof reading and editing scripts where necessary.
