My mission is to be a well-rounded voice actor that can deliver great results for whatever job I'm given. I can be dramatic, adorable, sensual, friendly, casual, hyper, sensitive, or anything in between, depending on what the script calls for. I adore this industry and the people in it, and I want to bring my passion to your project.
Formação
I started volunteering recording audio books for a local nonprofit organization in 2019, and I still volunteer with them to this day.
In 2020, I joined the voiceover group, LTM. The organizers (Lindsay Fawn, Tyler Hyrchuk, and Max Gallo) host weekly script reads, where we go through a wide variety of scripts and practice reading them, giving self-feedback, getting feedback from others, as well as giving feedback on their performances. I'm familiar and experienced enough that they've asked me to occasionally host for them. The group also hosts monthly webinars featuring other members of the industry. Some that I've attended include: Bev Standing, Lau Lapides, Sarah Nightingale, Susan Hart, Nik Sliwerski and Bryn McAuley.
To further my skills and experience in voice-related work, some friends and I started the podcast network, Lengthy Tangent, completely from scratch. We taught ourselves how to steer a group of over 40 members to make a scripted podcast. I am a producer, writer, actor, sound engineer, and production coordinator for our award-winning debut audio fiction series, Peculiar Radio. I'm also the Exec producer of our upcoming anthology series that has yet to be announced. Some workshops I've taken that have helped with this journey include "Writing for Audio" with Gabriel Urbina, a session with the Booth Junkie himself, Mike Delgaudio, as well as a few sessions discussing logistics with Gabriel Urbina, Sarah Shachat and Zach Valenti. I sincerely feel that this journey has brought so much depth to my experience as a voice actor - to be able to relate to more aspects of the process than just talking into the microphone. And I'm continuing to learn more every day.
Experiência
My most consistent jobs so far have been dubbing animation for several Youtube channels. They include Hornstromp FNF 3D, Hornstromp Games, and Hornstromp Fingers. I voice multiple characters across all three channels.
Some other jobs I've completed include a PSA for Nova Scotia Loyal, an ad for Metabolic Super Protein, and the Summerfest guide for blind and print disabled patrons in 2022.
I've been a part of several projects for The Online Stage (a production company that produces online plays) including The Divine Comedy, Emily of New Moon, and The Iliad and the Odyssey.
Also, I've been the voice of several characters for the podcast, Peculiar Radio, including Mayor Francine Lamont, Irina, and Dana Fotheringham.
