"I can speak your story to life and make you laugh and cry."

With a voice that tells a story of a life well-lived, I bring authenticity and depth to every script I read. My voice carries the weight of years of experience, weaving together a rich tapestry of emotion that resonates with listeners. Whether you need a raspy and coarse delivery that speaks of resilience and grit, a smooth and sultry tone that draws people in, or a natural and real presence that feels genuine and grounded, I can shape my voice to fit the mood and message you desire.

Born in England to a British father and an Irish mother, I was immersed in the power of storytelling from a young age. My roots carry a sense of heritage and tradition, while my journey through life has added layers of texture to my vocal quality. Moving to the United States as a young girl gave me a unique blend of cultures, allowing me to seamlessly blend accents or infuse a hint of my heritage when needed.

My passion for exploring the world took me overseas during my university years, where I immersed myself in diverse cultures and perspectives. That wanderlust never faded—I’ve traveled extensively, gathering experiences that have shaped not only who I am but also how I interpret and deliver a script. I know how to make words come alive with nuance and depth because I’ve lived through the highs and lows that those words often represent.

I pride myself on being able to create a connection with the audience, whether through the gravelly edge of a hard-won wisdom, the inviting warmth of a comforting voice, or the vibrant energy of an upbeat, dynamic read. My voice is adaptable, real, and unpretentious—just like the stories it tells.

I can bring projects a voice that feels genuine, grounded, and undeniably human.

 Formação

In the 1990s, I took my first steps into the world of voice-over by training in Philadelphia. Back then, the landscape was entirely different—no internet to streamline the process, and far fewer opportunities, especially for women and newcomers. You had to hustle to get noticed, working almost exclusively through agents who served as the gatekeepers to the industry.

After completing my training, I recorded my first demo on a cassette tape—yes, the kind you could physically hold and rewind. Getting that demo into the right hands was an art in itself. You either mailed it out with fingers crossed or made personal deliveries, hoping to make an impression that stuck. Each demo was a tangible effort, and each opportunity was hard-won.

Fast forward past marriage and raising four children to the pandemic, when I reignited my passion for voice-over. During that time, I committed myself to honing my craft, taking classes and training for a year and a half at VoiceoverBox VO in suburban Philadelphia. Afterward, I had professional Commercial and Narration demos produced, marking the official relaunch of my voice-over career.

Since then, I haven’t stopped learning. I’ve invested in continued coaching and masterclasses to refine my skills and stay at the top of my game. Currently, I’m studying with Jesse Carroll at the VoiceOver School, constantly pushing myself to grow and evolve as an artist.

That commitment to learning, combined with my wealth of life experience, allows me to deliver reads that are authentic, relatable, and deeply felt. My journey has given me the ability to connect with scripts in a way that feels genuine and grounded—whether I’m bringing warmth and confidence to a commercial or nuance and emotion to a narration. The process taught me the value of resilience and dedication—principles that still guide me today. Those early experiences gave me a deep appreciation for the craft and a relentless drive to keep pushing forward, no matter the challenges. That foundation shaped me into the adaptable, resourceful voice actor I am now—someone who knows how to connect with people not just through sound but through a sense of real, lived experience.

 Experiência

One of my proudest achievements has been launching my voice-over career in my 60s after raising my family. It took courage and tenacity to step into a competitive industry at this stage of my life, knowing that I’d face challenges and setbacks along the way. I’ve had to embrace failure as part of the journey, learning from each experience and refusing to give up.

The moment that truly solidified my belief in this path came during my very first week as a professional voice actor. I landed a project that paid $800 for just two hours of work in a local studio. That early success was a turning point—it proved to me that building a thriving voice-over career was not just a dream but an achievable reality. Since then, I’ve continued to put in the work, honing my skills and staying resilient through every twist and turn.

While I may not yet have a roster filled with household names like Starbucks or Nike, I have auditioned for them—and each audition is a steppingstone toward greater success. I’ve completed thousands of auditions, and I know I’ll do thousands more before I can claim some of those high-profile clients. To me, persistence and dedication are at the heart of building a lasting career.

One client I am particularly proud of is the Ben Uri Gallery in London. I was honored to be chosen as one of the “Voices of Ben Uri” to narrate stories that celebrate Jewish, refugee, and immigrant contributions to British visual culture since 1900. That on-going project is especially meaningful to me, as it has allowed me to lend my voice to a cause that preserves and honors cultural heritage.

I’ve also had the opportunity to collaborate with Neuro Sound Design (France) on a challenging yet rewarding project—dubbing a video training series for pediatric cardiologists on evaluating and treating children's heart anomalies. The complexity and precision required for the medical scripts pushed me to deliver clear, authoritative, and compassionate reads.

While I continue to pursue diverse projects, I find particular joy in documentary and commercial voice-over work. These genres allow me to blend storytelling with authenticity, whether it’s capturing the essence of a brand or guiding listeners through powerful, informative narratives.

 Promoções

Beyond voice-over, I bring a wealth of performance experience and technical skills to the table. For over 30 years, I was deeply involved in community musical theater, performing in 4-6 shows a year as a singer, dancer, and actor. Those years of vocal and dance training shaped me as an artist, giving me a strong foundation in breath control, timing, and expressive performance—all of which have greatly benefited my voice-over work.

On the technical side, I’ve become proficient in audio editing using Adobe Audition. I can skillfully edit mono vocal tracks as well as multi-tracks that integrate video, voice, and music. I understand the importance of delivering high-quality audio and take pride in producing clean, polished results.

I also know the value of using my time wisely. I’m not afraid to seek professional help when needed—whether it’s collaborating with experts for branding and website development or outsourcing tasks that allow me to focus on my craft. I maintain a consistent presence across platforms by leveraging professional support where it counts.

My mindset is simple: I believe I can learn just about anything, and I’m old enough to no longer worry about whether others think it’s possible. I approach challenges with confidence and a sense of determination, knowing that resilience and a willingness to learn are the keys to lasting success.
