"Native Scottish girl - bright, lively, warm, friendly"

An experienced voice over artist with a soft, youthful Scottish accent. Particularly suited to presentations, training materials, interactive tours and the like, Karen's voice is warm, friendly and extremely down to earth. Her natural tones make clients and consumers feel they are listening to a friend rather than someone trying to push a sale on them.

Most of Karen's training has been on the job experience. She has supplied narrations for Child Protection Services training materials to several local authorities in her native Scotland. Her roles to date have seen her tackle radio commercials (Toyota Aygo, Angus College, Cashback Scotland); narrations (Knuckle End Extracts for BBC Radio Scotland) and character drama (Miracle on 34th Street for Radio Theatre Group, Eyes on the Street).

Karen is a very experienced actress on both stage and screen and can supply character voices in a variety of accents and styles (both UK and US). She is also a strong, lyrical singer (mezzo) with a very good ear for harmonies and experience of singing in both musicals and as a backing vocalist with a touring rock 'n' roll party band.
