I have a warm, deep (but not too deep!) compelling voice and have a knack for making even dry (okay, deadly dull) material sound interesting. I do a lot of straight narration but have a facility for character, comedic, wry, clever, or ironic reads as well
I've been a pro voice over talent for (cough) over 25 years and have been the voice of cable channels: HBO Family, Metroguide, and Nick on Demand, several TV shows: This Week in History on the History Channel, The Man Made Movie on TBS Superstation, and Ask The Stars on the TV Guide Channel, a web series: Inside Science TV, and countless promos, documentaries, museum tours, an audiobook or two, lots and lots of corporate explainer and animated videos, commercials, podcasts, webinars, eLearnings, questionnaires, government studies and trainings, and, well, the list goes on.
In addition to the above, I've done VO work for Nickelodeon, TV Land, Nick @ Nite, Lifetime, USA Network, Comedy Central, HBO Comedy, CourtTV, CNN/SI, and a slew of others. I'm from New York City but have a general US accent that's hard to pin down. I can turn on a slew of accents, characters, and do a lot of straight, warm, friendly narration as well. I recently moved to Portugal where I've reconfigured my top-shelf home studio with some European pieces to add to my Neumann U87 mic and Focusrite analog pre-amp for a smooth, clean, broadcast quality sound.
I’m also an award-winning writer, producer, and director, so don’t tend to need much direction, and if your script needs a little love or “zhuzzing up,” I can totally help you there as well.
Formação
I acted throughout my childhood and into college in school and camp plays, was always the class clown and family comedian, and was a DJ on the radio each of my four years in college.
When I started writing and producing promos for Comedy Central and others, I would often record myself if I couldn't get the voice of the network to do the read I needed. It was fun, and it saved us time and money.
I then, almost randomly, landed the voice of a new cable network, HBO Family, which got me into AFTRA (now SAG-AFTRA, though I can easily and legally do non-union jobs as well) which helped get me an agent in New York (Don Buchwald and Associates, then Atlas Talent). They then helped me land the voice of The Man Made Movie on TBS Superstation, This Week in History on The History Channel, and Ask The Stars on the TV Guide Channel, among a lot of one-off gigs, and leaning on my DJ, class clown, and acting experience, and with a sloshe of professional VO training, I was off to the races.

As stated above, being the voice of HBO Family and Nick on Demand for seven years, The Man Made Movie, This Week in History, Metroguide, and Inside Science TV for a year or two each, and countless promos, marathons, specials, documentaries, promos, e-Learnings, training videos, corporate and explainer videos, and commercials and other spots along the way has made me a versatile and deeply experienced voice over talent.
The fact that I'm also a long time writer, script doctor, editor, director, and producer also helps me when I'm in front of the microphone, as I tend to know what clients are actually looking for, and can help smooth out their scripts if needed.

Promoções
I can usually record and turn around professional quality VO within 24 hours, if needed. Sometimes even same day.
I can edit and finish my VO tracks for you as well, for an extra fee. I'm quite a good editor, (I just take a bit longer as I'm making sure I sound AMAZING)!
I do a lot of unsupervised recording as most clients trust my instincts as a writer, director, producer, and pro voice over, but I'm happy to do a live directed session when needed.
Otherwise, I'm also a killer script doctor/editor/rewrite guy, so if you script is putting everyone to sleep, I can help polish it up to a high gloss if needed.
