As a VO character/caricature/cartoon actor, I'm lucky to have a very flexible voice and really enjoy transforming into many different types of character as you will hear on my VO Character reel which goes from Troll to Fairy to Goblin to Evil Wizard.

This love of variety is also reflected in my singing work which covers Pop, Jazz, Folk and other styles.

 Formação

I trained in vocal work during my time at the Royal Shakespeare Company and also with various teachers since. I grew up around Jazz Big Bands which my father sang for so using my voice musically was very natural to me. During my time on Andrew LLoyd Webber's original production of LOVE NEVER DIES in London's West End, I did further vocal training to play the role of Dr Gangle, the Master of Ceremonies.

 Experiência

I have played the role of Puck ( Midsummer Nights Dream ) in 6 different Opera productions around the U.K. and Europe. I also hold the honour of having played 4 different characters in the British TV show DOCTOR WHO, the most popular of which is Colony Sarff, a very snakey character with a strange strangled voice. Other tv credits include roles on LUTHER, RED DWARF, ZAPPED.

I sing in many different styles as a high-baritone with a strong bass register which allows me to have a great palette of vocal colours to draw on. I also play piano, ukelele, woodwind and compose songs and music.
