Gretchen Gale

Gretchen Gale is a Soulful House recording artist from Brooklyn, New York. She began her career behind the mic as a singer touring the world as a (not original) member of "The Crystals," the '60's girl group best known for recording the original version of "Da Doo Ron Ron." Other groups with whom she has performed include "The Marvelettes," "The Platters," and the band "Gotham" of Steven Scott Orchestras. Gretchen has sung on studio recordings with The Crystals, Luther Vandross, Lisa Fischer, Doc Powell, and Marva Hicks, to name a few, and most recently sang background vocals on the 2021 Christmas CD of Gospel artist, Carla Harris. As a solo artist, Gretchen has released three singles in the Soulful House genre, with more scheduled to be released in 2021. She is the daughter of legendary jazz guitarist, Eric Gale, who she credits as being her first musical influence. She is proud to continue his musical legacy.

With over 40 years of singing under her belt, building a career in voice over is the next step in Gretchen's journey as a voice artist. She's been described as a seasoned professional with natural charm and charisma, who takes direction well and is a pleasure with whom to work.

Gretchen has entertained on stages internationally for decades, as a singer. For the past decade, Gretchen has honed her voiceover skills with top coaches in New York and Boston. Gretchen continues to challenge herself each time she goes into the recording studio.

 Experiência

Gretchen's biggest achievement, so far, has been realizing her dream of releasing a Soulful House record and being in the club to witness people enjoying and dancing to her music. She has made television appearances on “Doo Wop 51,” “Fabian’s Good Time Rock and Roll,” “Going To The Chapel,” “Sesame Street,” and has appeared in a Winn Dixie commercial. She is very grateful to have had the opportunity to appear on-camera, and looks forward to being the voice heard off-camera.
