In a past life (or just my first career), I was an English professor specializing in post-modern American literature. I had started acting while writing my dissertation and continued to participate in community theatre after earning my PhD. Starting in 2019, I decided to take my acting to the next level and enrolled in a one year conservatory, and I have been on stage, in front of the camera, or behind a microphone ever since.
Because of my background in literature, I can read scripts from multiple perspectives and translate that understanding to the audience. My teaching background (and love for learning and reading) has prepared me for Explainer or E-Learning projects. Plus as a film and stage actor, I'm able to lock into different characters and create the given circumstances for any kind of advertisement.

I have done private coaching with J Michael Collins, who also produced my demos and Brad Hyland. I am never done learning and continually sign up for webinars, classes, and workshops as well as attending VO conferences. I also participate in a variety of "weekly workouts" where I submit auditions and receive feedback from leading casting directors and VO artists.
