Hello! I'm Caen Lowley, a British voice artist and proud double nominee at the One Voice Awards 2025. My voiceover work stands out due to my ability to master various accents and genres. Whether it's for cartoons, commercials, movie trailers, narrations, or storytelling, I bring a distinctive and engaging quality to every project I undertake. My versatility spans across animation, video games, e-learning, corporate videos, audiobooks, documentaries, IVR, explainer videos, and promos, making me a highly valuable voice artist.
With over 30 cartoon impressions from shows like The Simpsons, American Dad, and Family Guy, to dozens of international and regional accents for commercials, e-learning, IVR, video games, and more, my range is truly impressive. I like to think of myself as five voice artists in one body—at least that's how it sounds in my head. Another ace up my sleeve is the deep and dynamic tone of my voice. With an American accent, I can sound just like a typical Hollywood movie trailer, or with a British RP accent, a typical authoritative commercial. In addition, my natural Essex-born voice brings an authentic and relatable quality to my performances.
It took me 15 years to finally feel the courage and confidence to set up my own purpose-built studio at the age of 32, complete with a decoupled wall system. Since then, my only regret is not having done it sooner.
In my first year as a voiceover artist, I completed over 100 jobs for brands such as Lidl GB, Domino's, and Anytime Fitness. I've received only 5-star reviews from my clients, and no less (touch wood). My first year was about finding out if I had what it takes to be a professional voiceover artist, and if I could really live my dream. I'm still convinced I'm asleep.
I am a dedicated, conscientious, meticulous, and aspiring rising star in the industry. I know it doesn't come easy—it takes hard work, learning curves, trials, and errors, but most of all, it takes perseverance. So rest assured, I am professionally doing everything I can to make a success of the work I create. Because after all, it's the work I create that will make me a success.
Formação
I went to Woodlands School of Performing Arts between 2004 and 2009. Since then I have received training in acting and singing within an operatic dramatic group I am part of. The majority of my voice-over skills come naturally or were picked up by copying voice artists on TV and Film from a young age.
Experiência
With numerous successful projects under my belt, I have worked with top-tier companies including Lidl GB, Domino's, and Anytime Fitness. I worked on a reel for Ofir Raul Graizer, multi award winning director. Only recently I discovered that I have been nominated for best radio commercial and best live outstanding announcement at The One Voice Awards 2025. My ability to deliver high-quality performances has earned me a 5-star rating from my clients, as well as recognition in the industry. Before 2023, I was simply someone doing impressions to their mates.
Promoções
I was part of an Amateur Dramatic Operatic Society called MADAOS - We were nominated for a Noda award in 2023 where I played Tommy in Calendar Girls. I had a singing part and am considered to be a strong singer within the group.
