Ben Mayer
I've been a VO for over 17 years here in Texas. Moving around a great deal during my formative years, I earned myself a non-region specific accent. I specialize in making things sound fun and easy. I call it the "smirk 'n shrug." My voice range can go from about 20-45. Between my nondescript North American accent and my general vocal agelessness, I can be quite a fit for a ton of companies: tech, grocery, food service, corporate e-learning, explainers... You name it. If someone needs to make it sound easy, I got you.
Formação
I graduated from the University of North Texas with a degree in Theatre Performance in 2005. I took a Voiceover course at KD Conservatory just of out school and have been working ever since both through my agents in Dallas and LA and through self-generated clients, as well.
Experiência
I have had the pleasure of being the National Voice of Kroger for 3.5 years doing all of their Price and Item tags, commercially. I have also worked with Capcom, 7-Eleven, Samsung, Taco Cabana, The Container Store, Grocery Outlet, MetroPCS, The CA Lotto, Holiday Inn, Genghis Grill, Minute Rice, The Village Church, Dr. Pepper, CiCi's Pizza, Weekend Video, Saturday Morning TV, Frito-Lay, Holiday Inn. I have also been an on-screen talent in my time performing and had a featured role in Oliver Stone's "W." in 2008. If you ask nicely, I can send you to the link that proves I did it wearing only my underpants.
Promoções
I have been a singer for longer than I have been in VO. I would be happy to send any samples if those services are needed.
