I have a unique voice that is smooth, clean and genuine. "Conversationally real" is a compliment I have heard previously. Commercial and character acting holds a special place for me, however I am comfortable completing e-learning and narrative roles. I provide a professional friendly and enjoyable experience with a no nonsense approach to VO. I can easily capture the mid 20's ego driven archetype and comfortably switch to the awkward boy in the grotto.

I have completed the NZ Voice Academy Intensive workshop, hosted by Toby Ricketts as well as formal acting training through Kacie Stetson Studio in Auckland (New Zealand): Acting for Screen and Television, and Theatre Performance, as well as the tertiary paper on acting and performance. I am a Trinity College qualified contemporary singer, and receive ongoing coaching through the mentorship program within Gravy For The Brain.

Sam has over 20 years experience working in the creative industries as a voice actor, vocalist, songwriter, actor, and stand up comedian. He understands the fundamental power of the voice and it's ability to connect and convey.​​

I am a singer with a tenor range, an accomplished songwriter and guitarist. I can complete my own post-production and provide stuudio quality VO recordings with effects and music.
