Welcome to Robert’s Recording Reel! In my custom designed recording studio, I can bring your commercial, narration, e-learning, website, or audiobook to life. My dedicated facilities allow quick turnaround, and in-house editing suite provides you with a one-stop shop for your all voicing needs.
Out of high school, I studied radio & television production, and recording studio engineering. I interned at several radio stations to gain experience. But then drifted away from the vocal arts.
Since then, I’ve graduated law school and am a licensed attorney; graduated nursing school and am a registered emergency room nurse; graduated business school with an MBA. I’m a Coast Guard search and rescue veteran. I’ve stood an Army post in Germany staring down the Evil Empire. I’ve worked in fast food, mainframe computer rooms, gun shops. I’ve sold door to door.
If it’s out there to be done, I’ve done it. And now, through all that, I can bring your voice project to life … because I’ve probably done, eaten, or bought the subject of the script.
I have a passion for nature, conservation, and animal care. We foster dogs for a local rescue. When I can get away, we love to travel … especially if there’s a beach or forest involved.
And this experience and passion will come through in your commercial, narration, audio book or e-learning project.

I have had months of one on one training via Such-a-Voice. My personal voice coach was Hollywood's Michael Yurchak, who painstakingly worked to improve my vocal range and delivery to provide the best quality vocal performance for the client. Training included script preparation, auditioning, and delivery styles. The program also included professional studio design and setup coaching, to achieve the highest quality sound recording in my private studio. The program's capstone was the production of professionally produced commercial and narration demo reels.

I am a successfully published audiobook narrator, with multiple titles currently for sale and Audible and i-Tunes. I also volunteer with Librivox.org, a free service helping to bring public domain literature to life. My Librivox portfolio includes several short stories and poems.
