Hello there! My name is Leo John Guinid.
A humble voice actor from the Philippines.
I started voice acting since 2020, to make a living from the pandemic, after my musical theater work had come to a halt.
After much research, time and sweat dedicated to building my own wooden booth at home, I had finally created my first "studio" and making much needed income.
To differentiate myself from my colleagues, I started studying animation. The samples of which, I will be linking in my experience description.
It's been a couple of years since my first few gigs, and I've gathered enough confidence to take the title of a "professional" voice actor.

I've trained for 3 years under Repertory Philippines musical theater acting workshop, and playing the lead role in the award winning Philippine musical "Quest for Adarna" which placed first as the best children's musical for 2019.
And I've trained for 2 years under the Philippine voice acting group "VocAlliance" under reputable coaches such as Robert Ian Joseph, Dave Soltura, Lee Sy, and Allen Milford Vanik.
I've also taken training from the talented Dane Scott Udenberg.

I've been a voice actor for about 5 years already, and for credentials, the most high profile companies I've worked with are:
DISNEY, NICKELODEON, DEL MONTE FOODS, GLOBE TELECOM PH.
My main specialization is character voices for western animation, Japanese anime, video games and Audiobooks.
For my commercial casting, I specialize in friendly, calming or energetic reads, as my voice is naturally young. So I can amp it up to give it youthful vigor, or soften it to coat it with innocence.
I've also learned to specialize in animation, competing in the 2023 DoTA TI shortfilm contest, landing 15th place out of 200 entries.
