I have been working as a professional actor for over thirty years. I have worked in touring companies, in house companies and outdoor symphonic dramas. I have performed in musicals, Shakespearian dramas, straight plays and my favorite....(very fractured) children's theatre. For over twenty years, I have co-owned and performed in our touring children's theatre company, Porkchop Productions in Aiken, SC. We travel the Southeastern United States. We are a three person company. We have around seventy original shows that we tour. Being a small company, I have had to play many characters, often in the same show. That has been both difficult and very rewarding. I believe that the arts, in all its forms, is an important part of life.

Besides being a working actor since 1985, I enrolled in Such A Voice in December of 2020. With the pandemic making it impossible to tour, I reached out to a friend and fellow actor, who has been working as a voice over actor for fifteen years. She recommend Such A Voice. My coach, Michael Yurchak is an amazing teacher and specializes in animation work, so he was the perfect coach. Such A Voice has walked me through the artistic, the technical and the marketing aspect of voice over work. They also helped me create my own in home studio. That took a great deal of work, but I finally have a recording studio in my home. I was actually able to record my demos at home. My studio consists of: AT 2020 Condenser Mic, ATH--M40x Studio Headphones, Shure Pop Filter, and PreSonus AudioBox Interface. Even though I am at the end of my coaching sessions, I continue to take courses under Such A Voice.

I am very proud, thankful, happy and elated to have been able to help start a theatre company and keep it going for over twenty years. We have clients who continue to hire us year after year. Not only are they good clients, they have become good friends.
When I was living in Charlotte, NC, I did commercial jingles, commercial work for Carowinds and Outlet Marketplace. I also did a short piece for the show PM Magazine. I was hired by WBTV in Charlotte to do a scene as an intro to the airing of Star Trek.
But, for the past twenty years, our theatre company has been my career.

I have a number of voices/characters that I do. I play the guitar, flute and piano. As unusual as this sounds, I can do impressions of a trumpet and a harmonica, as well as impressions of The Bee Gees and Dolly Pardon. Yep....that did sound unusual.
