My background is in musical theatre and early childhood education. The two of these practices give me a wealth of experience in both performance and education, and after years of experience being a preschool teacher and an entertainer for young audiences, I've realized my specialty is educational language. I've spent summers training with various voice coaches, attending master classes, and about a month learning in London for a Contemporary Theatre and Drama course, as well as, 6 months in the Such A Voice premiere VIP character training program. I've also worked for Disney and honed my improv skills working with different iconic characters. It was during my time at Disney that I fell in love with voice over. As a character attendant, I was afforded the opportunity to be the voice of iconic characters and bring them to life through storytelling. It was pure magic and the start of something truly remarkable. Fueled by this love, I invested in my own professional development and took a few conferences and seminars on creativity, cast engagement, and one called “your impact on others”. I currently teach PreK 3 and PreK 4 at a magnet school in Connecticut and do community theatre regularly.

I took a course through Such A Voice: the voice over training company which included private coaching with Melissa Medina. Currently, I invest in my training with ongoing vocal coaching, auditioning, and community theatre. I hold a BA in Theatre Arts from Boston College where I spent most of my spare time in rehearsal, both for the University Chorale and for the mainstage and “after hours” theatre productions. The vocal coaches I've worked with most presently are Kristin Huffman, Peter Thoresen, and Susan Eagan. I have also studied acting and voice for the better part of 15 years.
