Erin Al-Awar

Hello! My name is Erin Al Awar and I am so honored to be considered for your voiceover project. My strength as a voice actor lies in my realism- I am able to create multidimensional characters for a wide variety of voiceover genres that do not sound "announcery" or fake. I analyze each piece of copy individually and craft my approach based on the unique language, feeling and information the copy is trying to convey. I am able to produce high quality voiceover work quickly and efficiently, and take direction easily. Each project is an opportunity to collaborate with my clients to create something truly spectacular. My focus is YOU- the client- and making sure my voice represents your brand and its values with integrity and clarity.

Background: I have been passionate about voiceover work since I was a child- producing my own pretend radio show (on cassette tape!) in my room at age 10. I have also been acting since childhood, mostly in stage theater. I have appeared on two game shows (Lets Make a Deal and Price is Right). I absolutely adore performing- whether it be in front of or behind the camera. In addition, I have worked in the Aerospace and Defense industry in Supply Chain Management. I also have a background in Residential Real Estate sales. My diversity of experience, especial in the realm of the corporate business world, has given me exemplary time management and communication skills. I am professional, accountable and extremely easy to work with. I have a Masters Degree in Business Administration and an academically oriented mindset-- I am obsessed with detail and creating the highest quality work product for my clients.

I have a professional, fully treated home studio that is ready to record high quality, fully edited audio. I use a Rode NT1 Signature Series Condenser Microphone with SM6 Shock Mount and Pop Filter, Balanced XLR Cable, Focusrite Scarlett Solo 3rd Gen USB Audio Interface. I use Audacity as my editing software as well as the Waves De-Esser plug in.
