Let's begin with my childhood. (This won't take long). When you're a kid, you mimic people for fun sometimes.
But there were countless times people would tell me "You should do voice overs for cartoons or video game characters." Not only this, though; My speaking voice alone has had some attention. I have genuinely made friends with people in bars just from having them turn around and say "Your voice is so unique" Or "I could listen to your voice all day...say more words" and finally "Your voice would be perfect for a Newsreader Job!"
It wasn't until a couple of years ago that I finally decided to no longer ignore that this is a real talent, and to not let it go to waste.

To put this simply; My work is unique because while I am able to deliver with just my natural, British English accent and vocals, I am also able to bend and twist my voice into various other characters from high to low, crispy to clear, even young to elderly.

So, like the caption implies; My speaking voice is posh, velvety and frank.
Whereas I can quite genuinely transform into somebody else entirely just by altering my voice.

Where I mostly grew up with these dulcet tones and uncanny ability to mimic, I furtherly explored my range with the lovely Drew York of Voice Over Soho, London.
He helped me to gain an understanding that what the industry is looking for are individual talents that make them different and unique.
With Drew, I also learned a lot of other side notes I'd never before realised, too; such as avoiding certain consumables and simply turning the music down on my Spotify.
Since then I have recorded at home to flex these chords and simply, to have fun.

I have accomplished an entertaining short-story character reel and once appeared on Vectis Radio (Isle of Wight) performing an array of character readings.
Also, in another form of acting - appeared in a short film "Quantum" by Little Feet Productions.
On the climb upward from this day forward.
