I'm currently coached by RichCraft Voice Training. Throughout my career as a commercial scriptwriter, I've had the pleasure of working with many of the top UK voices in the industry and have always leveraged their skills to enhance my own. My character acting stems from over 20 years of improvisation training and performance, predominantly in a comedic setting, but more recently in an improvisational music setting. The joy of taking a suggestion from the audience and creating a character within a setting to story-tell is a wonderful route to exploring that art of what's possible. Layer that over scripted work, whether it's dramatic or comedic, and the ability to quickly embellish the character with a back-story is something I excel at. In addition to my voice and improvisational work, I've trained in Screen Acting with the Manchester School of Acting, working with acting coaches and casting-directors to bring truth to roles.

In the commercial space, I've worked with a number of retail media companies including Imagesound, voicing in-store radio ads across multiple clients in the retail space. This covered both offer-led reads and character work. In the corporate space, I've worked with insurance companies and banks on both online-training and event-led projects. I've recorded voiceovers for web-based ads for SMEs across the UK. On the dramatic front, I've recorded audio for Lime Pictures as part of their ongoing soap opera Hollyoaks, have recorded a number of radio plays for Bradford-based radio stations. My acting work has seen me on-screen in Shameless (UK version) and in music videos for Johnny Foreigner and Reverand and The Makers.
