I've been working as a voice actor since June 2020, about 2 1/2 years. I wear my age proudly.
My life experience enriches my voiceover work – I’m an actor who is fearless, doggedly persistent, willing to ‘go there’, and embraces challenges.
MY SOUND
My “voice print” has been compared to Jane Fonda, Kathy Bates, Sigourney Weaver and others of my generation. Think of me as the Wise Woman with Gravitas who can deliver ‘warm and empathetic’, ‘knowledgeable’ along with a wicked sense of humor and great comedic timing. Plus a head full of characters who are impatiently waiting for their moment to SHINE... a few even speak in accents, including: NYC/NJ, Southern: soft Georgian and tough Texan, Midwestern, British RP & Contemporary London, and Eastern Europe (Russian/Ukrainian).
BOOKINGS & STUDIO
My very first paid gig was dubbing a Netflix documentary, voicing several character roles. Other project-genres include political ads, audiobooks, eLearning modules and corporate narration.
I have everything I need to create a quality product: a sound-treated audio booth full of professional grade recording/editing equipment.
Opleiding
I’ve spent over 100 hours of training & demo production in the past year, working with some of the best Voiceover professionals and instructors in the industry: Audiobooks with Joel Froomkin, Coaching and demo productions with Anna Garduno, Shelly Shenoy, Anne Ganguzza, Kim Handysides, and Improv with Geoff Grimwood. Training in a wide range of other genres, including commercials, elearning, character development, explainers, corporate narration, dialects, improvisation, acting, dubbing and animation
Ervaring
My biggest achievement has been in continually working hard to improve my skills over the 2 1/2 years since I began this journey. Despite the many challenges, this work continues to make me happy and focused and energetic. I think this is reflected in my natural voice.
My biggest client was my first - a Netflix documentary. Others have included audiobooks, community political ads and local health department PSAs. These ads have featured my voice as various characters
