Rob Paterson

Robert is an established voiceover actor with a warm baritone and great range. His reads can be moving, genuine, intense - but he feels equally at home with comic or light-hearted material.

Besides publicity and corporate work for the likes of Audi, Beko, La Liga and Nescafe, so far in 2023 jobs of interest include: reading the diaries of Salvador Dalí for the Casa Dalí Museum, narrating current affairs documentaries for Arte TV and voicing an award winning campaign for Turismo de Canarias.

His feature film credits include the role of Dan Brenner in the acclaimed Ryan Reynolds thriller, Buried. He also specialises in character voices for animation and video games.

 Opleiding

Rob studied voiceover in London and got his first taste for it when he worked at De Lane Lea Sound, dubbing war scenes in the series The Young Indiana Jones. From there he jumped into cartoon work, especially enjoying a long spell playing a variety of seriously evil villains! Work in publicity and corporate sectors soon followed ..

Rob feels very fortunate to have had a very busy career so far - the last 15 years especially.

He's most recently been the chosen voice for several worldwide TVC campaigns for Beko.

He's e been voicing La Liga promos since the glory days of Messi for La Liga TV.

He's also been narrating Arte current affairs documentaries since 2020.

Highlights include being Ryan Reynolds' choice for the role of Dan Brenner in 2010s hit thriller Buried.

The creative projects of many clients with whom he is lucky to collaborate continue to surprise and delight him.

Robert has a very good singing voice, and can sing in many different styles. Accents and character voices are also a speciality, coming from an animation background.
