When you’re looking for someone who can relate to the gritty side of life — the trauma, the tragedies, and the crises, think of Rich. His career as a firefighter and paramedic, working alongside police officers and other first responders, gives him firsthand knowledge of the tribulations of life. He saw the pain, sorrow, and even the joy and resilience. Rich is trauma-responsive care certified and a Mental Health First Aid instructor. He understands how people’s experiences influence their behaviors and interactions with others.
For the softer side, Rich can pull from his years of training and teaching. From children to adults, Rich has helped people learn valuable topics. He inspired the students he instructed, sometimes using his skills as a musician, puppeteer, and even as a trained circus clown to help engage them.
Rich is a fan of all forms of storytelling. Even as a young boy, he read books both day and night. His mother would hide his flashlight so he couldn’t read after bedtime!

I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcast Journalism from Ball State University.

Ervaring
Rich has enjoyed narrating books for Lantern Audio and John Marshall Media, including titles by independent authors Jim Jawahar, PhD, and Matthew J. Lynch; and narrating as Tony Desoto for Chloe Parker and Bailey Bradford; he has worked with independent authors Ross Farrally, Michael Nichols, Tom Olshanski and Tom Schreck; Rich has narrated and produced several audiobooks for independent authors through ACX.
An enjoyable e-learning project that Rich completed was "Fire Safety for Healthcare Workers" for the Ohio Department of Commerce, Division of State Fire Marshal;
Though he has a long career voicing narrations for government and non-profit organizations, Rich is expanding my outreach to include commercial work and entertainment productions;
Rich has voiced commercials for many years while working in the broadcast environment and is eager to help clients with their commercial voices.
