Nader Shatara

There have been a few colleagues that have suggested that I have the perfect "Dad Voice". Whether I'm inspired by the compassionate Mike Brady, the dry Danny Tanner, or the snarky Phil Dunphy, I can provide my unique perspective as an actual dad for more than a decade to provide your clients with a relatable voice. I love working on consumer-related projects as I've spent twenty years as a marketing professional in the sports, tourism, and consumer electronics industries. My background as a storyteller in my previous career allows me to get in tune with your project.

In addition to voiceover, I’ve pursued a variety of creative endeavors from graphic design to photography and videography. I’ve photographed products that have appeared in catalogs and websites, professional portraits, and photo shoots for local youth sports. I've recently engaged in videography and produced a video ad along with several e-learning courses for clients.

 Opleiding

I began my training at VoiceOne in San Francisco in 2020 and produced my professional commercial demo in 2022. My training primarily focused on commercial voiceover complemented by in-depth training in narration as well.

Along the way in 2021, I was diagnosed with a rare soft tissue sarcoma in my right leg. The nearly year-long journey through major surgery and tissue repair, radiology, and chemotherapy provided me with tremendous gratitude and a new perspective on life.

 Ervaring

I worked on a variety of projects including a commercial for a Church Insurance company, a podcast intro for a cannabis startup, and editing/mastering an audiobook. I've even coached my 10-year-old son for a voiceover role in a children's toy.

 Specifieke vaardigheden

I am proficient with Adobe Audition to produce my voiceover work and have extended those skills while producing and mastering an audiobook for a client. I have a professionally outfitted home studio and can produce professional-quality audio for your projects.
