Melanie Eng

Melanie is passionate about interpersonal connection, education, and storytelling. Calling upon her Bachelor of Science in communication studies and Master of Science in psychology, Melanie loves to immerse herself in the mind and world of every character she embodies, wholeheartedly believing that every character can be empathized with if one digs deeply enough. Within a formal education setting, Melanie brought characters to life in animation, dubbing, and video games, as well as provided education and information via narration, audiobooks, and commercials.

On the Mic Training: Vancouver, B.C., Canada
● Completed a six-month government-accredited education program consisting of 20 hours per week of direct, in-depth voiceover training and practice
● Learned from professionals active in the voiceover industry
● Honed skills in acting, improvisation, performance physicality, animation, commercial, dubbing, video games,
narration, audiobooks, and the business of voiceover
● Recorded and submitted homework auditions and other performances using the digital audio workstation Pro Tools
● Learned significant lessons in making strong acting choices through the experience of memorizing, rehearsing,
receiving direction, and performing a scene with another actor from Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar
● Engaged in the extensive process of writing and preparing scripts to record animation and commercial demos

As a Texan, Melanie is signed with DAN Talent Agency in Nashville, Tennessee.

 Specifieke vaardigheden

Melanie can record and edit recordings from her own home studio. She is open to discussing coming to in-person studios or having online recording sessions in real time. She currently has access to Zoom and Skype and is in the process of obtaining perpetual access to Source-Connect.
