Kris Kirschner

Kris Kirschner is an engaging, authentic, professionally trained voice actor with a background in radio, television and theater. She brings a lifelong passion for performing with a down-to-earth approach to every project.
There is a reason Kris is as comfortable behind the microphone as she is having coffee with friends. She began her professional career more than 30 years ago, as a local radio personality and newscaster. She leveraged that into a career in television news which earned her awards from the National Academy of Television of Arts and Sciences, Associated Press, and Society of Professional Journalists.
Wanting to have more time with her family, Kris transitioned into corporate communications where she works for a healthcare network and lends her voice to corporate videos, audio newsletters and commercials; and she is the host of the podcast,‘Tell Us Where It Hurts’.
Kris recently earned a Master of Science degree in communication from Purdue University.
Coached and trained in voice acting and improvisation, Kris brings a range of vocal styles and personalities. She’s the ‘next door neighbor’, ‘soccer mom’, ‘doctor with a bedside manner’, ‘trusted friend’. Her voice is familiar, friendly, credible, energetic, mature.
Kris lives in Indianapolis with her husband and two children. When she's not in her home recording studio, she spends time binge-watching her favorite tv shows and planning her next beach vacation.
