Jose Lobo

I am an experienced media professional with a long track record working as a VO talent, radio and TV presenter, producer, journalist, TV and Radio tennis commentator, translator and in PR. For thirty years I hold positions in radio and TV stations in South America, the BBC World Service in London, and the United Nations Radio in New York amongst others. I also lectured and coached professional voices.

In addition to VO recordings from a professional studio in the UK, I am able to take pre-production jobs, especially translations and/or copywriting. Last but not least I am very flexible and happy to travel wherever is more convenient for you.

 Opleiding

I specifically trained as Radio and TV broadcaster at the Instituto Superior de Radiodifusion in Argentina (three-year degree course), took several CPD courses, and lectured on broadcasting and Voice Over performance at two universities in Argentina before moving to the United Kingdom where I continued my career at the BBC World Service while recording Voice Over products at the same time.

 Ervaring

I have produced and presented nearly all formats of Radio and TV, and as a VO artist I recorded commercials, corporative, e-learning, documentaries, dubbing, and e-books. In addition to several products for the BBC and the United Nations Radio as part of my contracts, as well as my role of TV online tennis commentator for Perform Group, I recorded several commercials, corporative, and e-learning products for companies such as HSBC, Shell, RealD 3-D, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Anglo American, IHG Group, etc.
