Until now, I have spent my media career in front of a camera on HGTV network as both Co-Host and main on-air talent as the builder/contractor. Co-Host of HGTV's Double Take for 2 years, Get it Together (6 episodes) and Landscape Smart (6 episodes) along with a documentary on The Escape From Alcatraz for the Smithsonian Channel and being the DIY Expert for Simpson StrongTie Corporation. I have finally made the long desired move to be behind the camera because it still allows me to be creative and connect with people. After having a wide variety of people listen to my voice over demo, the six most commonly used descriptive words used were: professional, trustworthy, energetic, friendly, engaging and believable.  Ervaring

To date, my voice over work has been for television shows. New to being exclusively behind the camera, I have found the craft fascinating, fun and challenging all at the same time when not being able to see what my voice is paired with.

I've also been a licensed General Contractor for the last 15 years and have an extensive knowledge base of the industry.

I have an ability to describe complex processes in ways most anyone can understand. (this being a great strength of mine) This is why I was cast on the HGTV shows. People were not understanding the Contractor on how they were building things. And with the documentary on the Smithsonian Channel about the escape from Alcatraz, They needed someone to explain and demonstrate how the prisoners crafted a water tight raft using only what they had available to prisoners. And for Simpson StrongTie, They needed someone that could show people how to use their new DIY kits to build a variety of different projects so everyone could feel they could. I was able to do this by connecting with them with my voice and drawing them in. Explaining and emphasizing the parts of the script needed for them to comprehend what they were looking at.
