More than 35 years as a voice artist, I have developed a versatility that makes my voice an excellent fit for a variety of assignments. My voice goes from deep, rich baritones, to fatherly, to authoritative, to rough, to a wide variety of characters.
Opleiding
After a year or so back in the '80's, working with a microphone, a tape deck, and copy torn from magazines, and transcribed from radio and television, I finally took lessons from a Boston-based actor and voice artist Neal Armstrong. I took some classes at the now-defunct Weist-Barron Academy. Since those days, I have had the great, good fortune to work work with many well-seasoned, successful broadcasters and voice artists. I have been equally fortunate to have the opportunities to use my voice for a great number of applications- regional and national radio and television commercials, corporate presentations, phone systems. As a broadcaster, I have covered news and traffic, talk, comedy. I continue to practice my craft with breathing and reading exercises, acting and singing techniques, and meditation.
Ervaring
For more than 15 years, I have been the voice of Safety Insurance, a Boston-based insurance company, handling radio, television, and telephone. Over the years, I have done spots for CVS, Boston Globe, TJMaxx, and many others. Among many industrial assignments, I have voiced benefits presentations for clients of Marsh and McLennan Insurance, for the past three years. While covering news and traffic for ten years at Metro Networks, I was also the in-house production voice, voicing myriads spots each week. I continue to work in radio as a traffic reporter and regular guest on the Morgan show. For several years, I provided original and recorded comedy for radio. I conduct entertaining historic tours of Boston.

Among special skills, I do sing, have some proficiency with the piano. I do have a voice over studio, with production ability. I have writing skills for news, feature, and voice-over copy. I have interviewing skills, and public speaking skills.
