With a Neutral British accent and an authentic Northern accent that can be thickened up to broad Geordie I've a versatile voice that can sound a lot younger than the 30years of Broadcasting and Voice acting I've achieved.
With a long list of clients both here and in the UK & US I have been in broadcasting since I was 18 yrs old in Radio and National TV with Sky Sports, BBC & Bauer radio. Presenting and producing everything from chart shows - to live international sport from transatlantic broadcasts for Disney through to religion & ethics.
With a warm, real and connective ability to offer an adaptive performance I understand and take direction well so to deliver the right performance for your clients understanding social, geographical and economical aspects of brands, messages and campaigns to the fines nuance.
Opleiding
Since the age of 18 yrs old I began my broadcast training on the Breakfast show of Metro FM where I presented not just the breakfast show but the Helicopter reports, Afternoon show, and also the multi Award Winning Evening show where listenership was as high as 98% in it's reach.
During this time I completed more than 10 Trans Atlantic Broadcasts for both Disney and Universal Studios before moving to Capital FM in London.
A move to Sky Sports TV followed to host the first ever Full Female sport coverage nationally and Internationally of SSL Netball for 10 years as well as other sports before a move to the BBC where for another decade I presented and produced everything from Talk, Breakfast & music shows through to Faith & Ethics.
For the last 30 years I've always had a professional home studio and provided a plethora of large clients with everything form Commercials, to e-learning, Narration to documentaries, Radio Promos to Station Imaging and more.
I continue to train with coaches in the UK and US and have a state of the art studio from which I work alongside my Teen daughter Verity Uma, who herself is an award winning Voice Artist in her own right.
