Elizabeth Carrillo

Spanish was my first language growing up, so I speak it flawlessly. I learned English at 5 years old and because of that my "accent" is very natural and not regional. My voice easily vacillates between a young cheerful tone that can portray kids and teenagers. Although my voice prefers more juvenile characters, it can sound more fresh and polished. I can code switch in both languages, which adds an interesting layer of personality and a true insight to who I am.

 Opleiding

I have taken classes with Kelly Moscinski of The Voicecaster in Burbank, CA. I have done Level 1-3 of commercial and one animation class. I also participate in their weekly voice over workout groups, where we audition for feedback on our takes. I recently joined the VO Dojo where I am furthering my voice acting training and receiving mentorship. I do improve once a week as well.

 Ervaring

I had my voice recorded for a children's hospital breast milk lab. The video was meant to introduce the department to the rest of the hospital and spread awareness about who they were and what they did.
I also did a series of small stories meant for people learning English as a second language.

 Specifieke vaardigheden

I can do some basic editing. I took an Audacity course with Larry Hudson, which taught basic editing and how to add music in post production.
