Dave Earl

I'm a British-born New Zealander with an accent that could be called a mid-pacific mix. I sound more British but with a small New Zealand twang on the side. For the past 15 years I've lived and worked overseas in 8 different countries which has softened my accent so I don't have any strong regional dialect.

I was born in the south west of England so I can still produce my west country native accent. I can also do a decent Australian accent because of a 2 year stint in Canberra. Alongside that I have been noted for my Indian English accent.

 Opleiding

Way back in 1990 I completed the Australian Radio and Television Course covering camera presentation, announcing and interview techniques, copywriting, technical operations, sales and marketing, media laws and regulations.

In 1993 I passed the Radio New Zealand Broadcasting Audition based on voice, speech and personality.

I worked as a radio presenter for Radio 1PPP in Canberra, Australia from 1988 - 1991, and then worked with Plains FM 96.9 in Christchurch, New Zealand from 1993 - 1998.

 Ervaring

I recorded commercials for various companies in New Zealand, and since moving overseas I have completed commercial work in China, both as a voice artist and actor in front of the camera.

Since moving to Germany in 2015 I have recorded a series of prayers for a client in central America, an English voice over for a firm in Pakistan and a series of commercials for a client in New Zealand.

Currently I am recording the English voice overs for an Italian company who provide online courses in the financial sector.
