Hello, I'm Alix!
I am a voice actor with 3+ years of experience and native to England UK.
I have a neutral British voice that sits quite nicely into a soft London accent. I am noted for my animated, authentic & friendly persona which can quite easily slip into a deeper sultry tone.
I am a versatile performer who is fun, playful and spontaneous which is demonstrated within the comedic, eccentric and colourful characters I create.
I record from my pro home studio in Northamptonshire, but always happy to travel to locations.
I have a BA HONS in Television and Creative Writing, I greatly consider dramatic structure, scripts, pace and timing.
Opleiding
- 2020 Gravy For The Brain: I am trained by, and an active member of Gravy for the Brain which continually teaches and guides me on my voice over journey. I have completed various modules from Character Acting, to creating Commercial reels. I have gained more knowledge on using Adobe Audtion and I have a much better and more detalied understanding of the editing and recording process.
- 2019 Character Voice for animation, stage and screen with Dian Perry at City Lit: Over this six week course, I learnt how to create characters from just pictures or just a small brief. How to warm up correctly. Getting to know the characters I created and sustaining them. Script work and reading with a group, along with ADR training.
- 2018 Character Animation with Yvonne Morley at The Showreel : Over a three day workshop I learnt about mouth work, tongue placement, breathing, body positioning, how to keep voice and vocal folds in good health, and learning how to manipulate my voice and impersonate others.
- 2017 Introduction To Voiceover with The Showreel: I learnt about the basics of voiceover, taking part in tasks and activities learning about mic positioning, my signature voice and recording commercials.

I have a Pro home studio set up with: Acoustically treated sound booth. Rode NT1-a Condenser Microphone, Scarlet 2i2 Audio Interface, Macbook Pro and I edit and mix with Adobe Audition CC, I can also be directed live via Cleanfeed, Skype or Zoom.
I write comedy and have a BA Hons in Television and creative writing which gives me an advantage when creating comedic characters, understanding scripts and dramatic structure.
I also have experience in audio editing having attended a Music Technology and Radio Broadcasting course at The University of West London.
