Tristan is a versatile voice actor, known for his melodious, smooth vocal quality. Originally from Gloucestershire in the UK, Tristan has a standard British RP accent, with a wide range of other UK and US dialects at his disposal.
Though Tristan has extensive corporate and commercial voice over experience, especially in the fields of English Language Teaching and Education, audio books are his true passion, and preferred method of reading.
Having notched up hundreds of hours as a listener of audio books, and inspired by truly great narrators such as Stephen Fry and Joanna Lumley, Tristan invests in his performance as a narrator, engaging the listener by 'painting' rich, descriptive language and providing authentic and distinct voices for characters.
With ten years experience as a professional actor, Tristan is used to collaborating with writers and taking direction. He relishes the opportunity to bring text to life for an audience, and records and edits from his home studio.
In addition to his voice over work, Tristan holds the position of Artistic Director for Cherwell Theatre Company and teaches acting and singing as a lecturer at the University of Northampton. He has an additional specialism in music therapy.
Tristan is also a trustee of Sophie's Silver Lining Fund, a foundation providing support to young people from disadvantaged backgrounds who wish to train in the performing arts.
