It wasn’t until the late John Hughes remarked that I had a voice for voiceover that I’d ever even considered it. Growing up in a multicultural household, I was immersed in traditions that emphasized community, resilience, and the power of oral storytelling. As an artist, I've long embraced the idea of wandering as a means to self-discovery. Drawing from both my colorful upbringing and my adventures meeting diverse people and hearing their stories, I've learned the value of listening, engaging in meaningful conversations, and offering comfort.
Starting early on in high school and community theater, I began to hone my acting skills. I seized every opportunity I could to showcase my voice and showmanship, through overhead retail store announcements, as a segway tour guide (I still can’t apologize enough about that), and even as a test prep instructor. Continued interest in performance led me to seek further training, including improv courses at Second City and Steppenwolf Theatre in Chicago. I immersed myself in the world of voiceover and puppeteering, studying under an industry professional. In college, I studied operatic voice and spent my free time gaining broadcast experience. Later in life, the product of these experiences would aid me in business - giving large-scale presentations and facilitating public meetings.
Most recently, I embarked on an intensive study program with a renowned Bay Area voiceover school and continued to refine my skills through private coaching. I'm a firm believer in lifelong learning, understanding that honing one's craft is a continuous journey. In addition to learning from esteemed voice actors, I remain committed to a rigorous training regimen.
