Thomas Rehfeldt

The tonal ability and precision of Thomas's voice is a composite of vocal experiences gathered from a distinctive career in radio, theatrical training, and a deep pool of humanness and empathy.
With a Vocal range that can deepen naturally to the range of a baritone, and a natural speaking voice comfortably in the lower end of a tenor, Thomas's career in radio allows for precision in a given register, or the ability to cover a wider range of pitches and emotional points. Training theatrically, he is able to delve in more nuanced emotions and find more heightened feelings with straighter, more targeted delivery. Growing up, Thomas overcame a difficulty with enunciations switching from vowels to consonants, turning vocal enunciation into a strength for delicate reads. With a wider array of character work throughout his life, Thomas is able to adapt his abilities towards your project, finding new and original ways to convey your message.

 Formazione

-Thomas graduated from the University of Wisconsin La-Crosse with a degree in Broadcast and Digital Media in 2015. He learned broadcast-level professionalism over the course of 4 years from a small NPR affiliate in La-Crosse (WLSU) before starting a 7 year tenure at WBEV in Beaver Dam Wisconsin.
-Thomas trained alongside decade-trained announcers on delivery, composure, and explored his range and talent through radio skits and live morning shows. Eventually, in 2020, Thomas learned how to use his voice for interviewing national guests from topics ranging from new book releases, the military, and even a conversation with a survivor of the Holocaust. The discovery of confidence within his upper register opened new avenues for tapping into his deep empathy, and made for more open and candid conversations.

-Training and guidance from David Goldberg, and multiple lessons taken with Edge Studio.
